What Is Rockford United General Baptist Church?
It is a local, fundamental, New Testament Church......A church is not a building, or an ecclesiastical hierarchy, but a local called out body of believers in Jesus Christ, assembled together. We assemble for praise, worship teaching, inspiration, winning of the lost and for food for the soul.
Why Is Rockford United General Baptist Church Here?
Matt. 28:19-20 is the great commission to the church and plainly tells its purpose.
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things what so ever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
We are here to tell of the gospel - Good News.
We are here to instruct believers in obedience.
We are here to instruct and direct believers.
