How to Pray for Missionaries
Do not pray, “God Bless all the missionaries, Amen”
As you pray for missionaries pray that God........
Will give them a measure of health that will best glorify Him.
Will give grace to overcome the difficulties that may come their way.
Will give them a deepening trust and make them willing to pay the price of consecration.
Will give them time to pray and study their Bibles.
Will give them unconquerable determination to go through every obstacle with Him as their guide.
Will censor their activities in order that they might spend the time and energy in only His important work.
Will give self control in intensive study of the language, their lessons and sermons that they must prepare.
Will help them to overcome temptation.
Will give them strength, wisdom, and guidance in the brining up of their children.
Will give stead fastness to the new converts on the field.
Will give strength to overcome loneliness, irritations, and misunderstandings that may arise because of the environment and circumstances.
Will be behind every effort that is put forth.
Will provide for their material needs according to His will.
Will give wisdom in knowing what to do and when to do it.
